ONE - Unitive and Separative

The primary definitions of the word "one" include both the unitive one and the separative one.

• The unitive one means, "Being a single entity, unit, object, or living being. Characterized by unity; undivided." This one and that one as One whole.
  
  
• The separative one means, "Being a single member or element of a group, category, or kind. Characterized by diversity; divided." This one or that one as separate parts.*

References to the One God or the Lord is One reflect both the Unitive (Transcendent) and Separative (Immanent) Manifestations of Divinity.
